In summer 2012, the Olympic Flame will visit iconic UK landmarks including OxfordWinchester, Stonehenge and Salisbury. The Olympic Flame, Torch and Relay tradition goes back to the ancient Olympic Games in Greece. The Torch will travel about 8,000 miles around the UK before it reaches London Olympic Stadium for the Opening Ceremony on 27th July. Many thousands of people are expected to welcome the Olympic Flame along the route each day, celebrating the achievements of the Torchbearers in parks, squares and streets around the UK.

Visit some of the sites ahead of the crowds and before the Flame gets to London!
