A panorama we took on a misty dawn in 2005. A few minutes earlier, all the stones were obscured by a heavy mist with just the tips showing. It was a very dramatic sight, it almost looked like a film set, and then the mist quickly dispersed as our photographer Mark was putting up his tripod. A dawn or dusk visit to Stonehenge is rarely the same, the weather seems so changeable in Salisbury Plain. But sun, snow, mist or even rain it is always a tremendous experience.
