About The Tour

A.A. Milne was inspired by the scenery of Ashdown Forest surrounding Cotchford Farm where he, his wife Dorothy, and their young son, Christopher Robin Milne lived from 1925. Locations in Winnie the Pooh's "One Hundred Acre Wood" relate to specific landmarks in the forest such as "The Enchanted Place", the site of "Heffalump Trap", "Eeyore's Sad and Gloomy Place" and "Poohsticks Bridge". Stop by Pooh Corner in the village of Hartfield which has the world’s largest selection of “Pooh-phernalia”.
