If you were walking around central London yesterday, you might have come across a flock of sheep grazing among some hay bales. Quite an unusual sight for central London!

Savile Row, London’s most prestigious street for menswear and bespoke tailoring, was closed to traffic, covered in grass and transformed into a field to celebrate the start of Wool Week. Two different breeds of sheep from Devon were roaming and posing for pictures in front of tourists, journalists and surprised Londoners.

Book a private tour with British Tours and ask your London tour guide to take you to see the world class bespoke tailors of Savile Row, and other shopping landmarks in London. Or, if you fancy something more rural, book a private overnight tour to the West Country: see the sheep in their own habitat grazing in the beautiful hills of Devon.
