Whenever it gets a bit hot Londoners seem obliged to dive into the nearest bit of water, fountains, lidos, the Serpentine etc.. As London enjoyed another day’s reprieve from Autumn with amazing sunshine and temperatures of around 27°C , I came across this unusual sighting of someone doing the front crawl down the canal at Islington. Full marks for courage; though the general feeling was he’d definitely need a shower before coming down for dinner..
