Broadway Tower, The Highest little castle in the Cotswolds, is a Gothic folly located outside the village of Broadway in the Cotswolds. The Tower was the brainchild of the great 18th Century landscape designer Capability Brown and was built with the help of the architect James Wyatt for the 6th Earl of Coventry. Throughout the centuries, Broadway Tower has had a number of uses such as the home to the printing press for the great collector of manuscripts, Sir Thomas Phillips, and as a holiday retreat for artists including William Morris, Dante Gabriel Rossetti and Edward Burne-Jones who rented it in the 1880s.
