Built in the reign of Henry VIII, this wonderful Tudor mansion surrounds 7 courtyards, one of which is used for more Whitehall Palace scenes and the scenery stands in for ‘London by Night’ in the film.
In 10 hours, you can continue to Dover Castle, which doubled as the Tower of London in the film, where George and Anne Boleyn were executed. Dover Castle has served as a vital strategic centre from the Iron Age onwards. Steeped in history, Dover is one of the oldest castles in England.
