Tour Administrator
Full-Time
British Tours Ltd is looking for a full-time tour
administrator for our small, busy office in London's West
End specialising in private tours of London and Britain.
This is a varied office position for a fast-learning and
enthusiastic individual who is able to juggle tasks
efficiently and work on their own initiative. Good numeracy
and literacy skills are required. An interest in helping
visitors get the most out of their stay in Britain is
essential.
Day to day tasks include:
- Dealing with customers
and agents - predominantly by phone, fax,
email
- Handling tour
requests
- Quoting and preparing
tailor-made tours
- Preparing and checking
accounts
- Allocating
tours
- Processing
payments
- Overseeing tour guide
and supplier availability
Salary and Working Hours
Salary is according to age and experience. Some weekend
work is required. As there is a fairly long training period
the ideal candidate for a full-time position should be
looking for a long term career. Previous experience working
in a similar industry is an advantage.
