The Lost Gardens of Heligan fell into neglect after the First World War only to be rediscovered and restored in the 1990s. Heligan is famous for its colossal rhododendrons, Italian Garden, lush sub-tropical 'Jungle' of exotic plants, and woodland sculptures like the Giant's Head seen here.
